Capital University Law School's Moot Court and Mock Trial Board is proud to present the 

22nd Annual National Moot Court Competition in Child Welfare & Adoption Law

Welcome to the 22nd Annual National Moot Court Competition in Child Welfare and Adoption Law! Hosted by the Capital University Law School's Moot Court and Mock Trial Program, this competition brings together law students from across the country to advocate on complex and timely issues in child welfare and adoption law. 

Teams of law students from across the country will demonstrate their advocacy skills as they present legal arguments at the National Moot Court Competition in Child Welfare and Adoption Law on Friday, March 19, 2027, and Saturday, March 20, 2027, in Columbus, Ohio.

For law schools interested in participating in the competition, please complete the form below to register your team. Registration will remain open until November 1, 2026. After that date, teams may choose to be placed on a waitlist in the event that space becomes available.
