21st Annual National Moot Court Competition in Child Welfare & Adoption Law
Welcome to the official registration page for the 21st Annual National Moot Court Competition in Child Welfare and Adoption Law, hosted by Capital University Law School.
We are thrilled to welcome law students from across the country to participate in this nationally recognized competition, which highlights the complex and evolving issues in child welfare and adoption law.
This years topic is marital status and adoption law: advocates will explore how marital status impacts the rights and opportunities of prospective adoptive parents!
This year’s competition will take place on: Friday, March 20th and Saturday, March 21st, 2026 in Columbus, Ohio. Registration fees are $650 per team, or $1300 for two teams.
Registration is now open and will remain open until 11:59 PM (ET) on November 1, 2025. Space is limited! Once registration closes or fills, additional teams may elect to be placed on a waitlist.
